Lori Commet
Instructional Assistant
Lori Commet is an Instructional Assistant. She volunteered in the classroom at Third Schools in 2016 and then joined the team in 2017. She has worked in a variety of elementary grades and enjoyed each and every one for their unique joys and challenges. Lori believes that every child should be celebrated for their uniqueness and given a place to learn in a safe, caring environment.
Lori has taken a scenic route to her destination here at Third Schools. She began her post secondary studies in the field of Education straight out of high school however life had different plans! She completed 3 years of studies before taking a break to get married and have 4 wonderful children. During that time she ran a dayhome and volunteered endless hours in her children’s schools, bands and sports activities. Lori worked as a Pharmacy Technician for 20 years before finding her place here. In her free time Lori enjoys spending time with family, her dogs Zoey and Gus, and visiting with good friends.
