Faculty and Staff

Jenna Hickling is a Teacher at Third Academy East. Jenna is originally from England and moved to Canada in 2017, she is happy to have more snow than rain here in Calgary! She has an undergraduate degree in History from the University of Aberystwyth, Wales and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Nottingham, England. Before moving to Canada she worked with students who had disengaged from education. Jenna completed her after degree in education at the University of Calgary. She currently works with high school students in the Knowledge and Employability stream and is passionate about creating a caring, safe and inclusive environment to support students to achieve their goals. She loves working at a school where the focus is healing. Outside of Third, Jenna likes to read, watch movies and watch live theatre performances.
