Unfortunately, all too many middle-income parents lacking health and dental insurance coverage have to make difficult decisions when it comes to paying for health and dental expenses for their children. Many of these families will benefit from the new Canada Dental Benefit program. If your family earns less that $90,000 per year, you may be eligible to receive payments for dental care of your children under 12 years of age. The first benefit period provides coverage for eligible expenses incurred between 1 October 2022 and 30 June 2022. For more information on the program and how to apply, visit https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/child-family-benefits/dental-benefit.html. Your children deserve great dental care.
