Sabu Alexander
Finance Manager
Sabu Alexander joined Third Schools in August 2006 as Chief Accountant. After completing his Bachelor of Commerce and CA (Articleship) at the University of Mumbai, he moved to Kuwait for employment. Sabu brings in vast years of experience in the field of Accounting and Software in various sectors such as Schools, International Education, Immigration, Day Cares, Charities, Municipalities, Restaurants and Fast Food Outlets, Container Servicing, Construction, Veterinary, and Research. Currently, Sabu works for Third Schools as the Finance Manager - Strategic Operations.
Sabu also the Finance and Public Relations Officer for the Shastri Indo Canadian Institute (SICI), a bi-national organization located at the University of Calgary that promotes academic research, collaboration, and faculty and student exchanges between the two countries. Apart from his role in Accounting, he helps SICI in organizing conferences and workshops across Universities in Canada and at Parliament Hill in Ottawa. He liaises with Government representatives, bureaucrats, and University faculty and builds connections with Industry and diaspora.
Sabu is also a Steering Committee Member with the Canada India Tech Council, a collaborative network for Indo-Canadian tech leaders. He is also a Director with Study Canada and Immigration Consulting Inc. which is run under a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. His hobbies include socializing, learning new skills and technology, playing badminton, listening to music, and reading local and international news.
