What brought you to the Third Academy?
During my practicum experience I had the pleasure of working with two students with Asperger’s. I wanted to challenge myself and continue my learning of special education. The Third Academy was the right fit.
What excites you about special needs education and your assigned class(s)?
I love the understanding that comes with special needs education. We are all a little special and we all need something different. Embracing these differences and celebrating them is what makes it all exciting.
How does the “Third Academy Way” complement your approach to education?
Collaboration between the school, home and student have always been a priority to me in helping kids succeed.
