I love working with the children and adolescents at The Third Academy as each day brings new challenges and work is never dull. Nothing is more fulfilling than seeing a young client come out of their shell and create positive changes in their lives and academic abilities.

My approach to counselling is humanistic and client-centered. I utilize Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques in my clinical practice. With children my focus is play therapy, social skills, and relationship building. My clients appreciate my warm and accepting nature in addition to my refreshing sense of humour. My own life experience allows me to empathize when my clients struggle with the universal challenges inherent in life’s journey, such as raising children, relationship challenges, and the daily stressors that life brings. I work with individuals and couples (children, adolescents, young adults, and adults) who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, parenting, separation, and other relationship concerns. My area of expertise is in process addictions, mainly sexuality (pornography and sex addiction), and partner/family trauma.
