High School Lead – Grades 10, 11, and 12
Education for Mrs. Eddie has always been important personally and professionally. As a young student herself she struggled with school and was told that she would never excel in higher learning due to a learning disability. Her dedication to learning led her to complete a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology/ Anthropology, as well as a Bachelor of Education, and designations within Special Education, Physical Education, and most recently Social Sciences.
“My teaching approach is based upon care and compassion. I know my students are capable and I aspire to assist them in achieving their goals. Being strict with expectations is important to me, so is being fair. I do not lower the bar for my students even given their learning challenges, diagnosis or family situation. Every one of them has the ability to learn and grow,’ explains Mrs. Eddie.
She is married, has a beautiful step-daughter named Grace and a one year old daughter named Elizabeth-Rose. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, being outdoors, spending time with family and taking mini-trips on weekends. She also loves video games and comic books!
